Short version: Unintended haitus was for final surgery and to get started on the final stint of rehab. Road’s been bumpy, but I’m making it happen. Still here and (figuratively, or now) kickin!

Longer story below.

Sincerest apologies for the haitus these last few months. I’m finishing up the last major leg (haha) of my major delay. That being the surgery I needed to have and the followup rehab that’s required so… well, so I can walk again. There’s no point in sugar coating that point. It’s been a crazy 8 months so far. And I still have a while to go before I can expect to see “normality” in my life. But I’ll get there. Not a matter of if… but when.
I’m quite literally at the stage of regaining my ability to stand again. Walking will come soon enough. Rehab this time around has been a lot more difficult (so far) vs last time. It’s always a gamble when it comes to who you may end up with as a rehab therapist. Some are painfully (and annoyingly) strict, others will work with you and make sure you’re motivated to get what you need to do done.
This round, I ended up with the former, unfortunately. At the end of the day, this is just a section of the road that gets me back to being fully functional again. Almost at the end, just gotta make it a little farther.
As far as “returning” is concerned. We are not quite yet at the point of me posting pics inside the bus, let alone me getting the final major touches done that she (the bus) needs. I need to get myself together first. Health comes before all else at this time. But I do plan to work on being more active online so you guys know whats up! That being said… Thanks for sticking with me this far. Let’s take it all the way!
